SILVA Predictions For Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey

I just barely got this one out the door in time, but here are SILVA’s predictions for tonight’s Strikeforce main card:

Main Card Fights – 10:00 ET/7:00 PT

  • 185 lbs: Scott Smith (45.22) over Lumumba Sayers (26.35)
  • 155 lbs: Josh Thomson (77.42) over K.J. Noons (57.93)
  • 170 lbs: Paul Daley (62.38) over Kazuo Misaki (44.05)
  • 185 lbs: Ronaldo Souza (73.57) over Bristol Marunde (47.17)

Of course, I don’t have a SILVA prediction for tonight’s main event, the 135 pound championship between Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey, because I have no idea if SILVA is good at predicting women’s MMA or not. Most opinion seems to be that Rousey is a heavy favorite to win tonight, and I see no reason to go against that.

I am shocked that Daley and Thomsom have that high of SILVA scores.

Thomson split a pair of fights with Gilbert Melendez and has beaten Gesias Cavalcante and Pat Healy, so I understand his high SILVA score. Daley’s SILVA score does seem a bit high to me, but it’ll be coming down with his loss to Kazuo Misaki.

I did not like how they kept showing the arm break replay. They are women for God’s sake.

Strikeforce commenting team is bad. Militech can stay, but the other two have to go.

    Still think Cyborg beats Rousey.
